Video: Block’s ice-cold Fiesta
Yes, we know that - having done no more than read the title of this story - some of you are already aiming a bolus of virtual phlegm at our comments boxes, no doubt accusing us of being obsessed with Ken ‘Gymkhana' Block and his powersliding exploits.
You may have a point. But, just before you comment, take 147 seconds out of your day to watch this video, which shows Ford's Fiesta rally car - the one that will compete in the WRC proper in 2011 - sliding around a snow stage in Michigan.
Not because of Mr Block's indubitable driving skillz, but because it's a great chance to see - and hear - the future of WRC. It looks and sounds good, we think.
Right, you've heard us out and watched the video. Now feel free to dole out the Block-love abuse...

Pretty average track meaning it has only slight turns and mostly long straights so I don't think it does'n't really matter if they are using studless tires.. this Ken Block's got a hill to climb against experienced Loeb, Hirvonen etc.. .. the Fiesta though looks very good. I'ved seen most of the WRC S-2000 cars except Citroen ( Sebastian Loeb ) which I believe will definitely look like this - ( http://www.rallybuzz.com/citroen-ds3-wrc-first-photo/ )
