Kia Rio

Kia has revised pricing for the Rio and abandoned its promise of selling petrol- and diesel-engined models at the same price.

The Korean company says the move has been forced by unexpected demand for the Rio and restricted supply to the UK.

A petrol-powered Kia Rio 1.4 GS now costs £8,495, and a 1.5-litre diesel version £8,995.

LX models cost £1,000 more than the GS.
