Everybody knows splitting the atom leads to nuclear power, right? Well, we reckon building an Atom creates nuclear power.

The kind men and women of Ariel have given TopGear.com this exclusive video that showcases how they put together their Weapon of Mass Destruction in just one day.

Don’t forget chums, this little thing is powered by a 2-litre Honda unit with 300bhp (0-62mph in 2.7s), and now comes in full-fat V8 flavour; a flavour so creamy it packs more bhp-per-tonne than a Veyron.

Actually, considering how much damage the original did to our Jezza, it should be called the Weapon of Face Destruction...
