Oi, Asma! Didn’t we say just yesterday that everyone should just allow the McMerc SLR to die in peace? Didn’t we decide the DTM-inspired Renntech version should be the last one? Well?
This is unacceptable, Asma. Even if you did make it for the Royal Family of Abu Dhabi. Look at that horrible melted-Pontiac pointy nose. Look at those Halfords-spec wheels. Now take a long hard look in the mirror.
And no, we don’t care if you’ve boosted the SLR’s power up to 700bhp. Hamann managed the same thing, and their car didn’t look like a murderous robotic shrew, did it? And it was called the Volcano. If you call this awful thing ‘The Tectonic Shift’ or ‘The Magma Chamber’, we might look on it more favourably.
Until then, Asma, you can take your million dollar asking price and, er, invest it wisely until more favourable economic times.
This ends now
No more SLR tuning jobs. Make it stop, or we won’t be held responsible for our actions…

Black rubber mask (with the pointy ears) and floor length cape are presumably still opptional?? My thoughts, for what they are worth. Horrendously over worked with an excess of 'fiddly bits' and really way too much of the utterly naff carbon fibre. If I want fibre................ I'll eat All Bran. ;)
