The SEMA show kicks off next week in Las Vegas. The world's biggest tuning show, it'll be packed to the brim with hotted-up, bodykitted, modified metal - including, as always, many many Corvette-based creations.
There shall not - we predict - be many Corvette-based creations at SEMA scarier than this, the C6 GTR from the intriguingly named Michigan-based tuning firm Specter Werkes (don't you just hate it when just keep picking ‘E's out of the Scrabble bag?).
Visually, the C6 GTR looks spookily like the bastard offspring of a Z06 and a Mitsubishi FQ-400, and it boasts the sort of performance you'd expect from such a devilish progeny.
Corvette's 7.0-litre ‘LS7' V8 has been stoked up to a mighty 800bhp, all channelling to the road through those carbon fibre rear wheels.
Specter Werkes is yet to release performance figures, but we reckon the GTR (original choice of name by the way, guys) could show the supercharged Corvette ZR1 a clean pair of hilariously oversized exhausts in a straight line.
Speaking of exhausts, do the GTR's pipes remind you just a little bit of Darth Vader's chin? No? Just us?
Now watch Clarkson thrash the Z06 back in 2006:

At least they're not using the N-word like other Corvette tuners. The bhp figure is nothing more than the new benchmark in the SEMA annual boasting competition. Hopefully Hamann will respond with a 900bhp ZR1-based Vette. Wasn't there a 600bhp Honda Jazz last year?

Isn't SEMA just an excuse for vulgar American cretins to paint their cars purple, shove a Playstation 3 in the rear view mirror and then have wheels that glow several different colours in the dark as well as possess an uncanny risk of attracting dragons?

Did they cram everything in that car's bum!? It looks like a kangaroo, crouching before making a particularly high or far jump! I don't know if I meant that as a compliment or not, actually..
