Dodge has shown it's keen to muscle in on the European hot hatch brigade with its Caliber SRT-4.
Part-SUV, part-MPV, the Caliber is another of the recent rash of crossover vehicles, but Dodge has thrown in a 300bhp four-cylinder engine for good measure.
Performance is reckoned to be very rapid, and Dodge claims a sub-six seconds 0-62mph time.
Lowered suspension and bigger alloy wheels mark out the SRT-4 from other Caliber models and the hot SRT-4 is expected to sell for around £20,000 when it goes on sale in the UK towards the end of 2006.
