The bean counters at Infiniti have been busy with the abacus again. Last week they revealed prices for the gargantuan FX, and now they've announced figures for the smaller EX - Infiniti's second car for the UK, continuing the company's brave march through the recession with its premium, petrol-only SUVs.
You'll have two versions to choose from: the EX37 and the EX37 GT. Both use the 3.7-litre V6 from the Nissan 370Z and both do 0-62mph in 6.4 seconds.
The base car costs £35,200. Standard kit includes adaptive xenon lights, which point where you steer, a big sound system with a hard drive and iPod connection, plus a Scratch Shield paintjob with an elastic resin layer that ‘fills in' small blemishes as if by magic.
The GT version is £36,500, for which you get some extra goodies: leather, electrically adjustable front seats and steering wheel, heated seats to keep your bum warm and a coat hanger in the driver's headrest (sounds comfy).
The cars hit the road in September, giving you just enough time to choose between one of these or a top-spec Audi Q5, which has a diesel and will leave your conscience a little cleaner.

Those lights look like melted versions of the ones on a Merc R class. Lets just hope this mimics that cars sales figures so we can avoid seeing them in life too much.

Infiniti designers probably have a poster of the Lexus SC430 in their studio. They seem to have modelled quite a few cars on it......... "You'll have two versions to choose from: the EX37 and the EX37 GT. Both use the 3.7-litre V6 from the Nissan 370Z and both do 0-62mph in 6.4 seconds.".......er, what exactly is the point of the GT if it performs the same as the regular version?
