Take a look at the newest Lotus for 13 years

Lotus Evora

We brought you the first picture of the brand spanking new Lotus last week when it was known as the slightly spy-like Project Eagle.

Lotus unveiled its bright light of the future at the British Motor Show earlier today, and we're still not sure what we think about the looks, although in the metal it's definitely a better looker than in that early shot.

But either way, it's causing a bit of a hooha down on the show floor - the blonde ladies are helping, obviously - as new Lotus models always do.

We still haven't managed to get a close enough peer into the cabin to see how much room there is on those back seats, but we'll go for a poke around later when there's more room (we tried earlier but all the camera crews got a tad uppity).

The Evora - what does that mean? - will go on sale early next year at around the £45,000 mark, and its 276bhp 3.5-litre V6 is rumoured to be Porsche 911-worryingly quick. Lotus is saying 0-60mph in less than five seconds.

So take a look, and tell us what you think about the first all-new Lotus for 13 years.
