Top Gear is not the sort of seedy publication to print photos of an attractive woman draped over a car for no good automotive reason. Oh no.

But this delectable gallery of Ms Tatana Kucharova – the Czech model crowed Miss World in 2006 – sprawled artfully atop the Maserati Quattroporte S is quite a different matter. Oh yes.

See, Ms Kucharova is far more than just a pretty face and an nice pair of legs to complement the fine lines of Maser’s delicious four-door. She’s an ambassador for her nation, an honorary ambassador of Warsaw, and a messenger for world peace.

This is a woman of global importance. This woman’s opinions are important. And if Ms Kucharova endorses the Maserati Quattroporte, Top Gear regards that endorsement as an independent and trusted vote from a European diplomat.

After all, Ms Kucharova is a woman of seasoned tastes. She likes tennis and horseriding and has many pets. Including a turtle. And a guinea pig. A woman with a turtle and guinea pig will invariably know a thing or two about sporty four-door Italian saloons, we think you’ll find.
