Porsche's 911 GT2 was famously nicknamed 'the widow maker'. The latest version is the fastest, most powerful 911 ever made. Thing is, Porsche-tuner Techart didn't think it was fast enough.
So, thanks to modified turbochargers, enlarged carbon inlet pipes, new intercoolers, a revised exhaust, headers and sports air filter the Techart GTStreet RS produces 160bhp more than the standard car. A full bodykit is also part of the pack, including an aero-pack that produces 10kgs of downforce at 88mph.
Performance is OK, if you like that kind of thing. 0-60mph comes up in just under 3.3 seconds while the GTStreet RS tops out at a reasonable 223mph.
This kind of excess can only be applauded, even if at £275,000 the GTStreet RS costs £140,000 more than the standard GT2.
