Toyota Supra

The most recognized of all Japanese GT cars, the Toyota Supra, is hitting the road on November 12th from Goodwood race circuit to take part in a booze cruise. Of sorts.

Running in full iconic Castrol racing livery - brought to popular attention via PlayStation game Gran Turismo - Toyota GB's classic is taking part in The Beaujolais Run with 59 other distinctive high-performance machines - the number 59 being chosen in celebration of Aston Martin's 1959 Le Mans win.

The run - for it is definitely not a race - differs from other events in that the winner is the team that records the lowest overall mileage.

It's not just for fun however, with donations being made to raise money for the event's three official charities: Richard Burns Foundation, Winston's Wish and the Down's Syndrome Association.
