The Toyota Hilux can not be killed.

we had an 81 carolla wagon(estate)well.....we did much more than that......one story..here goes...do thy make round bails of hay(straw) in England?..well they weigh about 700lbs to a tonn and a bit....we we used to play tag with them...at night.... in the field......with no head lights(thats how we lost 2 of them...no wait that was bowling with small square bails).....so ...at night...no lights....in 2nd ....accelerator to the floor.....in a field full of round bails....its fun if your driving.....sheer terror if your the passenger .....because we would wait until there was about 1/2 moon.....about 2am.....HOLD ON!!!! and hope for the best.....you see the only rule is,you cant turn the wheel ... until the last possible second ......before you hit the bail.......and that was the beginning of the death of the toyota..it took us almost oa year to TRY to kill it.there was 1 piston still firing when we sold it for scrap.and it still drove.you cant kill an old toyota!!!!!!!!.without effort.

I wold like to buy one of theys Trucks if i can.Just so you knowe i'm in the U.S so it's got to run good & meat the state laws.

absolutely remarkable... I had the double cab version and went off a bridge to avoid a drunk pedestrian. the bridge is about 3 stories high over a river which is about one meter deep. The van landed on its side and after help from passers by we managed to get it back on its wheels. It started first time and although the left front wheel was bent rather badly, I engaged the front hub locks and drove it out of the river and back home which was about 3 kilometers away. the van was a complete write off just like the one in the video, yet it still drove...

i'm sure it could survive after being drove off a load of cliffs
