Buahaha!! you put a GT Mustang, against a Lotus Exige S supercharged...That's a "fixed" fight...just like all the mike bisping fights. it's nothing to brag about either...yeah it's british engineering but it has a Japanese engine...c'mon...typical british humor, not very funny.

i dont care about this silly little joke, the Mustang is still better than the lotus. THE RACE WAS FIXED!!!!! @ezri: it is, you just have no sense of humour, like all americans, th eclosest they will ever get is 'humor'. Ok, I've spent hundreds (maybe thousands) of hours at the track, seen just about everything go around, and the one thing that blows me away is how *well* the mustang did against the Exige. Seriously, the Exige is one super quick car *specially designed to be a track car*, and the Mustang is, well, just a run of the mill muscle car - a very good one, but still designed more for the street, than the track. And it kept up pretty darn well! I don't think the Mustang has anything to be ashamed of!

Well to be fair to the best country (USA of course) I say you should have tested a Shelby COBRA or top of the line Roush or Saleen Mustang... I like the Exige very much but for Dollar to Dollar or in your case Pounds your race....its just laughable. Whats next? Honda Civic VS STI? LMAO

I must admit I saw the Roush version of the Mustang beat the regular old Shelby by a margin, must have been cause of the independent rear suspension. Straight line speed is everything if your running the 100 metres but put a curve in it and it's a different story.

Beïng honest, american cars are 400 meters jumpers. Turning is not there best thing no matter the sound or looks, as everyone knows...Just put a same HP and type non american car and the same thing happens again and again...still US cars are cars with great sounds and looks, breaks and suspension not.

yeah i agree. it was rather stupid to put a mustang (not even a GT500) against an Exige. that's like putting an M3 against a drag racer around a track. Just plain unfair.

They are, however, about the same price new, so they are competitors of a sort. US cars in the UK are vastly overpriced, they have to go up against a better class of competitor to the ones they do at home.

I don't care about your silly little race, the Mustang is better than that silly little toyota.
