Americans do need big motor homes-that bed in there (in the castle on wheels) was just for one person.The British motor home is just not to be in a horrible caravan. I rather sleep in that Aston from series 13 in Romania ( the Lambo and the Ferrary are good too)...

Well, first off, I think the reason that RV's in the U.S. are the size of Montana is because the folks who are serious enough about camping to actually own one of these things isn't just popping 'round to the local state park. They are going across country with the intent of seeing all the Big Landmarks, and meeting like minded individuals in similar conveyances. They meet in the evening. I don't know about certain activities, but most likely they will compare gas prices, taxes and wonder why the matron in the rv across the way dresses even more hideously than everyone else. However, the one thing that struck me immediately about this vid was the openness with which James discussed Jeremy and Richard's special friendship. Which just confirms one thing for me -Hamster goes on and on about Will Young because he's jealous...

James May is so natural at this stuff. Top man.

I will have to say, that being an American who just came back from a camping trip, I much prefer the larger, almost garrish motor home I have over the far more economical and effecient UK version May was showing there. The only down fall was the 6-8 mpg I got on a 300 Mile trip. Oh well, nothing can be perfect I guess.
