Imagine, if you can, the horror. The long, dark breakfast time of the soul on that first day that a City Ranger starts work for the first time. Looking down at that emblazoned, blazing high-vis vest and thinking "how did it come to this? Why didn't I just keep that job at the sewage works, taste-testing the recycled water?"
Yes, in case you haven't guessed already, I've recently received a parking fine. Worse still, I incurred said fine while visiting a market, and I hate markets with the kind of passion I usually reserve for City Rangers.
