Alfa 4C for Oz
Could this be the car to turn Alfa Romeo's fortunes around? Despite being one of the most famous names in the game, the Italian stalwart has churned out years of decent-looking but stodgy product that never quite convinced us it was the car nutter's nirvana it once was.
Enter the Alfa Romeo 4C. A compact two-seater that's slated to weigh just 850kg and chuck out more than 250kW, this concept is so unbelievably good looking in the metal, it's hard to see how much Alfa can stray from the original design and retain any credibilty.
Alfa CEO Harald J Wester told Aussie media at the Frankfurt motor show the 4C was due for launched in 2013. "If Australia is still part of the world in 2013, so it should be on sale there," he said.
So, pending annexing by Indonesia, Porsche's Cayman and Lotus's Exige should have a new playmate...

I agree with you, fastforwood. The 4C should be a smashing car. Although it would be able to sell on looks alone, like the Brera. The stunning performance just makes it better.

This makes me think dirty thoughts ... not to mention that with that power-to-weight the acceleration should be shattering. If it can handle at all it should be a wonderful car.
