Honda jet takes to the skies

The new HondaJet made its maiden flight over the Christmas break in the United States, bringing the carmaker's pet aircraft program one step closer to delivery.

The twin-engine HondaJet is aimed squarely at the rich exec set, and there's more than 100 orders already on the books at a cool $4.5 million a pop. First deliveries of the 777km/h jetcraft should start in 2012.
