Mad wagon tackles Tassie
The tarmac rally for those with a screw or two loose, Targa Tasmania, kicks off today, and our very good friends (cough, bastards, jealous much, cough) at Carsales have dusted off Skoda's tweaked Octavia RS-P for a blast around the Apple Isle.
And in case the 190kW wagon doesn't make it around the trickier stages, the boys have a secret weapon - a pair of bikes on the roof racks! Said driver Mike Sinclair, "you couldn't feel them, but you could hear them; they sounded like an extra turbo!"
Okay, so the boys only ran the roof racks for the event's prologue dash, but good on ‘em for doing something different.
Check out Fast n Dangerous over the weekend for motorsport updates from Targa Tas and the Queensland 400 V8 race.
