Nathan Tinkler's Fezza Cali done over
Newcastle, NSW, has a reputation as a bit of a rough town, but surely you'd be mad to go after the richest guy in town, the youngest billionaire in the country and a bloke well connected in the pony caper.
Nathan Tinkler - a Porsche Carrera Cup racer by weekend, mining magnate by day and a mad-keen horse racing fan for the rest of the time - lost a Ferrari California and a host of other stuff when thieves broke into his Newcastle mansion over the weekend - while he and his family were in there, if you don't mind.
Targeting the keys to the $500,000 roadster, the villains later dumped and burnt the drop-top Fezza. Bring back the cat o' nine tails, we say... though if Mr Tinkler's associates find them first, they'll more than likely wish the police got to them.
Of course, he's not the only well-to-do type who's lost an expensive vehicle - click HERE for our famous celeb crash gallery!
