Audi R8 GT is DEAD
First, the good news. Audi recently announced a limited production run of its fabulous R8 GT model.
Headline stats: it's 100kg lighter and 30kW more powerful than the standard R8 V10. It'll hit 100 in just 3.6 seconds and gets a rear-biased Quattro system.
Now, the bad news. That pile of debris you see above is one of 'em. The R8 GT's production run is just 333 worldwide. And if you're any way proficient at subtraction, it will dawn on you that there are now 332.
The driver of the R8 GT hit a damp patch on a road in Munich, careered into a barrier, bounced several times and came to a halt on the hard shoulder. Luckily, he jumped from the wreckage unharmed... and moments before the R8 got biblically fiery.
The Curse has returned. The Dark Lord of Supercar Death is HUNGRY.

Dark lord of stupidity more like! Simple fact that supacars don't suffer fools at all well!! Interesting how a lot of them burn like a race car just after the crash!
