Listen to the new Audi RS6
You won't care that this new Audi RS6 Avant is less powerful than its predecessor. You won't care that the total power drops from 421kW to 406kW. You won't even care that two cylinders have been scythed from its engine.
You won't care because it sounds pretty bloody astonishing.
This is the first video released featuring that 406kW twin-turbo V8 gently clearing its lungs. You can forget the RS6's understated q-car persona: this thing is pure, old-school muscle.
Of course, we'll have to drive it first to see if that noise seeps into the cabin, because having that sound associated with the new RS6's 0-100 time of 3.9 seconds (yes, three point nine), will be quite something to behold.
