Backstage on our M5 and 911 laser shoot
Our new magazine is on the shelves, and one of our snappers had the idea of using lasers in a photoshoot with the new BMW M5 and Porsche 911.
It was a great idea, we all agreed. And our original plan featured sharks and lions with laser beams strapped to their heads, but it was pooh-poohed by our OH&S officer, for reasons of workplace safety, or something.
But great whites aside, the end result - as you'll have noticed in the mag - was quite spectacular. The process was so bizarre that we hired a camera guy to film it all for us, so you guys could go behind the scenes and see for yourself how it was done.
Watch this. We hope you like!

It was a little bit disappointing if I'm honest. It was cool. Just not in the way I wanted. Still, Brilliant issue this month! except for the Mini Coupe S vs chilli article... not motoring journalism if you ask me. better suited to 'better homes and gardens' and the Model guide in th rear of the mag needs a review... eg. The Hyundai Veloster is front wheel drive, not rear. I know i sound snobby, but when you love the mag as much as i do, you red EVERY word and pick up on the little things.
