Is this the next BMW M5?
Could the camo'd BMW-shaped saloon in this video be the next generation M5?
Someone with a lot of authority, technical nous and a large quantity of Brain will probably know the answer. But that same person is probably locked deep in a high-tech top-secret deep-sea underground automotive complex together with an army of robot monkeys. Probably.
Anyhoo, using the highest form of authority - internet forums - many people reckon the next BMW M5 will come with a twin-turbo V8 and produce around 410kW.
A turbo, you cry? In a BMW M car? Well, don't forget BMW is getting pretty handy with forced induction. Witness the magnificent 3-litre twin turbo in the Z4 35is and twin-turbo 4.4-litre V8 from the X6.
We don't know anything about the next M5, suffice to say it will almost definitely be called ‘BMW', and shall wear a badge which reads ‘M5'. Oh, and sport the classic four exhaust pipes, clearly evident in the vid.
Look not-very-closely and you'll also spot a bright orange BMW M3 GTS doing the rounds.
