This is a ten second Corvette
Tuner Late Model Racecraft is a bit handy with a set of spanners. And they're not afraid of making the Chevrolet Corvette indecently fast. So here's a video to start your week featuring sheer, raw speed.
Earlier this year, they took an 1100kW ‘Vette and maxed out the Texas mile at 372km/h. Now it's released this footage of another LMR-tuned ZR1 doing some burnouts. This is followed by a frankly ludicrous quarter mile sprint time of 9.69 seconds.
In the pantheon of ruddy fast Corvettes, that's OMG quick. Yes, there are modified GT-Rs and Skylines that are possibly a shade quicker, but this is a Corvette. A ZR-1. The standard car is, as we found out, guaranteed to plaster an obscenely large smile on your face. It's also one of Jeremy's absolute favourite cars in the history of ever.
Have a gander at the video below. Anyone else want a ten second Corvette?
