Venom GT: first blood
Remember that little supercar with a heart of darkness we showed you a couple of months back?
Well it's ready - the first production Venom GT has just broken cover and we've got the official images.
See pics of the first production 895kW Venom GT
The first Venom GT - chassis number 01 - is headed to the UAE to its new owner. Who we presume has a lot of wonga and is not afraid of a) spending it, and b) death.
This is entirely because the Venom GT built for said MoneyBags packs the full-fat 895kW, thanks in part to a twin-turbocharged 6.2-litre aluminium Chevy V8 - yep, a base HSV motor - and some dark matter from the depths of the universe.
This particular Venom also produces 1539Nm, all of which will happily show you the door to the afterlife via a powerslidey-firey-death slalom. 0-100 takes around 2.9 seconds and the GT is geared for 418km/h.
The GT uses a Lotus Elise as a base car, with a new front and rear space frame and suspension housed underneath a new carbon fibre body.
Only those with weapons-grade plums need apply...
