This week’s Hyundai concept…
Hyundai is going concept crazy at the moment. Maybe
even koncept krazy. It's that mad.
Earlier this week we saw the pointy, recycley (it's a word, honest) Blue-Will
concept in Seoul, and now Hyundai has shown us a teaser of another concept set
to be unveiled at the New York show next week.
It's called the Nuvis and, er, Hyundai is staying very quiet about it at the
moment. We're told that the concept ‘hints at a possible design direction for a
future-generation crossover', but don't they all these days?
The Nuvis features a single pair of giant gullwing doors - they'll definitely
make production, then - and has been designed at Kia's Californian design
centre.
It looks to hint at a small city crossover, perhaps Hyundai's answer to the Kia
Soul, and - so far as we can tell from the shadowy teaser picture - should be a
handsome little thing. We'll find out more in New York next week.
