Maserati GC: prices and pics
Maserati has the released UK prices that'll set the tone for the rest of the globe for the GranCabrio - the four-seater soft-top favoured by every octogenarian female! - and, as you doubtless guessed, it is Not Especially Cheap.
Prices start at just over £95,000, ($171K) for the gorgeous convertible, but expect the true Aussie price to be considerably higher when it eventually lands on our shores.
That hefty wedge of cash'll get you a 4.7-litre V8 pumping out 323kW. It'll haul the GC to 100km/h in just 5.4 seconds and on to a top speed of 281km/h, which we'd imagine will be rather lively for your rear passengers.
Your cash also secures you the longest-wheelbase convertible on the market - Maserati promises that the GC provides proper seating for four adults with eight legs.
Mainly, however, this story is simply an excuse to show you the lovely shiny pictures from our big magazine shoot with the GranCabrio. Click through our gallery and prepare to want one...

I really wish this was the car James May or one of the TG host used on their grand tour of Romania for their first season 14 show... it's more appropriate I think than the Lamborghini Gallardo spyder.
