ALMS Crash

07 September 2010 - 13:35

Massive crash at ALMS race

Lots of high performance cars driven at high speeds with lots of men high on testosterone means a) lots of fun, and b) a very big Health Hazard.

We've witnessed some pretty horrific crashes in motorsport; witness Mark Webber's stratospheric accident at the European GP. Yet despite this constant desensitisation, we still remain largely, erm, sensitive to it.

Especially when it looks like this:

ALMS racer Luke Hines was overtaken at the Mosport raceway in Canada last month but was clipped; a move that sent his Porsche racer straight into the guardrail - and very nearly through it.

Luckily, he emerged without injury.
