LA show: Mazda3

Mazda has revealed what it hopes will be a Ford Focus-beater with the unveiling of the new four-door Mazda3.

The four-door’s shape is cleaned up. There’s a dental job in the form of the new corporate five-sided grille. The front wings have gone all Megane-ish.

Underneath, it’s the same Mazda3 we’ve always had, with only comparatively small suspension and engine tweaks.
