2011 Nissan GT-R 0-100km/h time revealed
The stuff you know: next year's Nissan GT-R will pack 395kW (up from 354kW), 611Nm of torque, new suspension, more downforce and lighter alloys.
The stuff you don't know: 0-100km/h, 0-160km/h, top speed...
Basically, all the stuff you blather on about to your mates after consuming one-too-many Stellas. A Japanese magazine, totally unaware of your beer habit but aware of your necessity to spout out benchmark acceleration times has tested the GT-R from 0-62mph.

And Godzilla did it in... three seconds. THREE. Half a second faster than the outgoing GT-R, and crucially, 0.3 seconds quicker than a Porsche Turbo S.
Wow.
Click the video below, which handily explains that had the track surface been warmer, the time would have been faster. Expect a new Porsche 911 Turbo variant very soon...

0.3 seconds faster to 100 than the new Turbo S? Check Autocar's magazine or around youtube because you will find that they say 2.9 to 100 for the Turbo S. 3.3 is the Porsche official time but they are always understated.
