P4/5 Competizione’s first race
Fact: James Glickenhaus used to be a film producer and director, owns a 166 Spyder Corsa, a road-legal Lola T70, a 1967 Ford Mark IV and this: a multi-million dollar racing experiment called the P4/5 Competizione.
Fact: the Competizione looks and sounds astonishing.
You'll no doubt know about Jim's P4/5 Competizione. It is a racing version of the sensational one-off Jason Castriota-designed P4/5, is based on a Ferrari F430 Scuderia ("we know that works", says Jim), and uses the 430's GT2 engine and transmission. This is so Jim can use it to drive around New York once he's done racing...
