Porsche release yet another 911 variant
Porsche have released details about the latest addition to the 911 range - there must be well over 911 different 911s you can buy these days - and it is a limited edition based on the standard Carrera coupe and cabriolet.
For no extra outlay, you get black paint, a fatter black steering wheel, black painted centre console, 19 inch Turbo II alloys, fancy door sills and a towbar. Okay, maybe not a towbar.
See more pictures of the 911 Black Edition.
Performance is unchanged from the standard car's 254kW 3.6-litre flat six, and only 1,911 examples of the Black Edition will be sold worldwide, and you can buy one for $223,000 for the coupe, adding $22,300 if you want one without a roof.
So another unneeded 911 variant or a welcome addition to the range?
