On your marks, get set, slow!
There are few spectacles in this world that cannot be improved by the addition of slow motion photography.
Lawn bowls, maybe, or James May's explanation of how variable valve timing works. But for everything else, slow motion is good news.
Especially motorsport. Which is why we're eternally indebted to YouTube user Mattzel, who has created this most excellent compilation of super slow-mo clips from the world of four- and two-wheeled racing, and set them to music.
The results are spectacular. We're especially loving the Red Bull on full opposite lock around the 20-second mark, and that flame-spitting touring car at the end of the clip ain't bad either.
In celebration of the miracle of slow-mo, who's up for spending the rest of the day inching round the office at snail pace and talking in slurred, low-pitched voices?
