Video: the Toyota TS030 sounds awesome

Stop. Collaborate and LISTEN. This is the sound of Toyota's new Hybrid TS030 Le Mans racer. It. Is. Heroic.

Toyota's bringing two of its new petrol-electric racers to the legendary 24-hour race this June. And, if this little clip's anything to go by, we'll be spending most of our time, ears acock, in the pit lane.

Here's a list of things we think it sounds like.

- The Batmobile

- A Tie Fighter

- The weird black smoke stuff from Lost

- Dubstep

- Stig having a crisis

- The world's biggest Lightsaber

Particularly the first bit of the clip, where it is driving away from its pit box. That's it in hybrid mode - the engine isn't actually on.

Suddenly all our anxieties about future electric supercars are gone...
