We love a debate here at Top Gear Australia as much as the next parliamentarian, but we didn't realise we were starting such a furious one by popping the HSV W200h on our March cover. We've been accused of everything from plagiarising Citroen - not something HSV's ever faced before - to the hideous crime of ... whisper it... putting an Australian car on our cover. Albeit not a real one.
Were you enraged by the idea of a hybrid muscle car, or are you enraged by HSVs in general? Let us know, if you haven't already.
We've also been told off about our choices of 10 Drivers' Cars You Might Actually Be Able to Afford. Those who've abused us, however, are best described as "people who are wrong". We've also got our backstage look at Top Gear Live this month, which hasn't made anyone angry. Yet. So, if you haven't bought the March issue, get thee to a newsagent now, and if you have, tell us how much you loved it. We need a hug.

I don't know really, what the problem is. I kind of do think the HSV looks like the GTbyCitroen (and man do i hate typing that), but if you're not going to build a bloody car, then drop it, otherwise ill draw a picture of a 911 for my art project, and then porsche will actually have to get a design team.

The HSV W200h from 2015 does look a lot like the GT by Citroen shown at October 2008 Paris Motor Show. And, as luck would have it, will also weigh 1,400kg. The GT by Citroen has four electric motors (not just one) powered by a fuel cell. One styling departure is that the Citroen has a duck's bum whereas the HSV W200h has no spoiler to speak of. I suppose that we will be driving the HSV on our PS3s some time soon?

Why don't the boffins at General Motors-Holden, just use CLAY models instead. Then they will be able to use the money saved to bail out the parent company in the U.S.A.(or should I say, help out the executives with extra bonuses).
