GT-R quarter-mile

GT-R quarter-mile

We feel pretty bad for the other driver in this video. By any measure, a 10-second car is a quick ride - but they're left looking like your Grandma on Sundays by a searing world-record run by Team English - named after Lucas English, they're from Washington in the USA, not England.

At the end of this video, you can see the car in the other lane simply disappearing into the distance - even though it's doing well over 200km/h.

The ETS-English Racing GT-R absolutely blitzed the strip, crossing the quarter-mile in a ridiculous 7.80secs, at 293km/h. For comparison's sake, a McLaren P1 does 0-200km/h in 6.6secs, and takes 16.5secs to hit 300km/h.
