Nissan Tiida overall verdict

Nissan Tiida
Rated 10 out of 20

Additional Info

It’s cheap for a reason. Interior space is about the best thing about this one. What kind of name is Tiida anyway?

  • Comfort

On par for its class, although it's pretty choppy over bumps. Lots of headroom and reasonable legroom in the back although the Tiida isn't all that wide.

    Rated 12 out of 20
  • Performance

Doesn't have as much power as most cars in its class, but then again it really would be wasted wouldn't it? Keeps up with traffic, but doesn't have much in reserve.

  • Cool

Given it's uglier than road kill and has the name Tiida, only the truly un-hinged could suggest this car has an ounce of coolness.

    Rated 8 out of 20
  • Quality

The interior feels generally cheap and some of the seat trims are plain. The manual gearshift clunks every time you change gears.

  • Handling

The Tiida handles like you expect. It doesn't really like corners so if you try to go around one fast it just squeals and wriggles and carries on.

    Rated 11 out of 20
  • Practicality

Lots of interior space and lots of room in the hatch. The sedan doesn't have as much room and can't fit larger items, but it is a sedan after all.

    Rated 15 out of 20
  • Running costs

Given most Tiidas are sold to fleets, including rental companies, the Tiida is pretty cheap to keep on the road. It is pretty easy on the bowser too.

    Rated 5 out of 20
