TG's Great Roads: Victoria

The light’s fading fast, the temperature’s dropping and my blood pressure’s soaring. We’ve been on the road for nine long and hideously boring hours searching for Victoria’s best driving road. And we’ve found nothing. In a state apparently blessed with some of the best bendy bitumen in Australia, I’m stuck on a road so straight and boring it’d have Therese Rein/Rudd salivating with desire.

Following TG’s successful mission to the savage and dangerous shores of Tasmania, we decided to continue our search for Australia’s best driving road a little closer to home. We chose three convertibles, three drivers and three days spent in delirious bliss, happily tackling deserted alpine roads until our hands cramp, the cars die or we run out of petrol money.
