Ssangyong

For a minute there they had us worried. You could see polo-necked clumps of proper car designers whispering in corners, wondering if ugly was indeed the new beautiful. Then the penny dropped. This is not some Korean epiphany, it’s a bunch of very badly designed cars indeed. They’re cheap, but if you buy one, so are you.

  • Ssangyong Kyron

    Kyron

    $32,990 - $39,990

This much SUV at these prices? Too good to be true? Well, yes, in the sense that it all feels cheap and a bit nasty, but you can’t escape the allure of a poor man’s M-Class.

  • Ssangyong Stavic

    Stavic

    $32,990 - $45,990

If your car is anything to do with sexuality, then here’s one for all you eunuchs out there. Is it any good? It doesn’t matter. Just go and find a big sack. Or an optician.
