    This is the car that won the World Time Attack event - the Nemo Racing Mitsubishi Evo IX, driven by Warren Luff. Well, it was an Evo once upon a time, before it went through a Transformer's digestive system.

    Stig would lose a bit of ground on the straights, where he'd be gobbled up by the thunderous twin-turbo GT-R. But in the corners, Stig fought back.

    And here he is! Stig finally hit the track in the afternoon, and immediately mastered the ferocious little Spartan. Which is just as well, because he was doing battle with one of the most formidable cars ever to race in Australia.

    Unfortunately, things were running a little behind schedule at Time Attack, so Stig had to sit there restlessly waiting to be fired out onto the track.

    Stig activated his Human Magnet while he was resting in the Spartan; many people came and had their photo taken with him. Athough us TopGear staff were careful to warn everyone to turn their flashes off. Stig can get startled.

    Stig would do battle against the two R32 Nissan Skyline GT-Rs you see parked around him here - Skylines with many more kilowatts than the Spartan - and the Stig - put together.
