Car chases, huh? My favourite is the least sophisticated and yet by far the most entertaining - mainly because it lasts the length of the whole movie.
We picked well, because if I was to shout 'I AM THE TOECUTTER!' and try to shoot you in the face with a crossbow, you should get what I'm talking about...

Sod your classics - Bullitt, French Connection, various Bonds - I'm nominating the climatic chase sequence in The Bourne Supremacy.
There's a fight sequence half-way through in which you can practically hear tendons twang and bones snap, and the same visceral quality resurfaces in the car chase...
