  I've spent the last few days - and few thousand miles - in a XJR on a top secret cross-continental Top Gear mission.

  I got quite emotionally attached to that car, but particularly the noise. Proper British-sounding V8, proper supercharger whine.

  But it sounds stuffy, understated and dead alongside the C63...
