The new 800cc MotoGP bikes are 190cc down on last year's machines, but in recent testing they're as quick as last year's 990cc bikes.
Let's be honest here - the new 800cc bikes were never, ever going to be slower than the 990cc machines...

The news that James Hunt's son Freddie is serious about a career in racing is deeply fascinating. There has been a flood of racers' kids hitting the circuits recently, but the thought of Freddie Hunt making a stab at it gives me goose bumps. And I suspect I'm not the only one....

So, here I am just about to give WRC's TV coverage a kicking when I watch a re-run of the Monte Carlo Rally on Eurosport and... ...it's quite good actually.
Not up there with Channel 4's old WRC TV show, but good nonetheless...
