    This is the new Renault F1 car.

    It looks wonderful, especially the liquid-modelled sidepods and mirror extensions - they're fantastic, like the freeform organic shapes HR Gieger would have designed for the Alien movie set - but the paint scheme doesn't look quite right...

    I love my job, don't get me wrong. Most of the time it's exactly as good as you imagine - as long as you're borderline anally retentive about cars.

    Trotted up to the UK's Autosport show last Thursday, ostensibly to poke around a couple of cars they had up there, but more because the show itself tends to attract some really odd stuff secreted away in corners that usually makes my head spin off in odd directions...
