Clarkson, Hammond and May to star in Phineas and Ferb this March!

If you have inhabitants in your house below the age of ten, the headline above will make complete sense. (If not, you may like to move on and watch this video of the presenters hooning a Lambo Sesto Elemento instead).

Yes, for those well-versed in the world of Phineas Flynn, English stepbrother Ferb Fletcher and bossy sister Candace, we have GOOD NEWS!

The three TG presenters are set to star in their very own episode of the massively popular Disney cartoon on March 1, alongside Mr Patrick Dempsey from Grey’s Anatomy (kind of an American Casualty, with better-looking hospital staff).

In the episode “Live and Let Drive,” Agent P travels to the glamorous city of Duchy in Montevillebad to stop Doof from winning the Grand Prix and collecting the prize money. When Doof uses his “I-don’t-care-Inator” to sabotage the race and eliminate the competition, including international racing legend of Italian-Scottish-Swiss-Dutch descent Paolo Vanderbeek (Dempsey), Agent P must take the wheel and go head-to-head with Doof on the racetrack.

Clarkson, Hammond and May will be appearing as Grand Prix announcers who go by the dashing names of Adrian, Ian and Nigel, as shown in the equally dashing picture above.

The show will air in America on Saturday March 1 at 8:00am ET/PT on Disney XD, and when we have info on when it’s coming to Britain we’ll let you know (along with some preview clips on next week)

In the meantime, here’s what happened last time Hammond agreed to be interviewed by Messrs Phineas and Ferb…
