Geneva 2011: some modified madness

  1. No motor show would be complete without a gaggle of highly modified motors hanging their big carbon-fibre faces out for the world to see. TG’s Ollie Marriage has pointed out some of the better ones, here.

Erm, here are a few more we’re slightly less sure about…

  2. Carlsson C25

Based on the Merc SL65 AMG, this 753bhp beast is dubbed the ‘Royale’. Just don’t ask for cheese.

  3. FAB Design Porsche Panamera

This isn’t actually new, but made its debut last year. Yes, we don’t have to say it.

  4. Novidem PPI Razor GTR Audi R8

    Overblown excess or cool carbon-fibre clad GT3 lookey-likey? Hmmm…

  5. FAB Design Merc SLS AMG

SLS’s V8 gets lightly fiddled to produce 615bhp, along with very minor body alterations and subtle paintjob.

  6. Hamann Cayenne

This one is called the ‘Guardian’. Who or what it’s guarding is anyone’s guess.

  7. Rinspeed Bamboo

This is an Internet car. It’s made of wood. It apparently reads out your Facebook, Twitter and text messages while you’re driving. Wonder what else it can read from the Internet?

  8. Mansory 458 Italia

The Swiss tuner thinks a 458’s looks can be bettered. We would politely disagree.

  9. Mansory Cayenne Turbo

Porker’s engine now packs 690bhp and does 0-62mph in 4.4 seconds. Best use that speed on a racetrack, away from the public. Far, far away.
