Bit of an odd mix, this - there’s music (2012’s lineup included the leathery Iggy Pop and indieists, Gossip), there’s racing (namely the Mini Trophy and Rushour series), and there are many, many Minis. Several of which had been driven by their owners. In fact, this little jamboree attracted 30,000 Mini-istas from nearly 50 countries around the world - one bloke even drove his one 4,032 miles from Russia.
Mini itself also put on an impressive spread of metal. And we were there, braving the inhospitable climes of Southern France to bring the best of the bunch. Now click forth, my brave knight, and discover the delights for yourself.
Then have a look at the new John Cooper Works GP, which was launched there. It’s the fastest Mini ever, y’know.
