Corvette C6 news - Escape to Victory

Corvettes
are a rare enough sight in these parts, but if you really want exclusivity, why
not go the whole hog and buy a Victory Edition model?

The
car has been built to celebrate Corvette’s endurance racing success (including
five class wins at Le Mans), and production will be limited to just 250 models.

Based
on Corvette’s C6 sports car, the Victory Edition has a 404bhp 6.0-litre V8 with
the choice of six-speed manual or automatic gearboxes.

Distinguishing
marks for the limited-run model include unique grey alloy wheels, yellow or
black paint and a subtle rear spoiler.

Inside,
there’s black and red leather, and a smattering of carbon fibre for that racy
 look.

There’s
also a numbered plaque in the cabin to tell you what number your car is in the
limited production run.

The
best bit, though, is that Victory Edition owners are invited to a free
driver-training day at race tracks across Europe.

Prices
start at £51,285 for the manual version and £53,685 for the
 auto.
