F1 stars send Kubica video message
This year’s F1 stars have sent Robert Kubica the digital equivalent of a chocolate box.
In February the Lotus-Renault GP driver suffered serious injuries to his right forearm, with ‘significant lesions to the bones and tendons’, when his Skoda rally car crashed at the Ronde di Andorra rally.
He had to be cut free and underwent a seven-hour operation to repair his hand mobility.
While Kubica’s condition has now stabilised, the Polish driver is out of contention for this year’s Formula One season.
