Top Gear USA news - Top Gear USA does Wembley - 2008

If the presence
of Michael Schumacher, Sebastien Vettel and Seb Loeb wasn’t enough to tempt you
to the Race of Champions at Wembley Stadium this Sunday, how about this: Top
Gear USA presenter and all-round drift legend Tanner Foust (far right) will be hitting the
track too.

Foust, who
replaces the injured Travis Pastrana – no word on how the X Games star injured
himself, but given the sort of stunts he gets up to, we wouldn’t be surprised
if he did it wrestling a shark while jumping a JCB over the Grand Canyon –
isn’t some pampered, made-up telly type, mind.

In fact, he’s
the 2007 and 2008 US Formula drift champion, a championship-winning rally
driver and an X Games gold medallist.

We’ll see how he
fares against the world’s best in KTM X-Bows, Ford Focus WRC cars and a bunch
of other excellent metal at Wembley this Sunday. If you want tickets, well,
what the hell are you waiting for?
